Ordinary People

Tom and Sarah never thought of themselves as special. They weren’t famous, didn’t have piles of money, and hadn’t done anything the world would call extraordinary. They lived in a small town, working regular jobs. Tom worked at the hardware store, and Sarah was a teacher. Their life was simple. They got up, went to work, paid the bills, and tried their best to take care of each other. Some days were easy, full of laughter and light. Others were harder, weighed down by worries, misunderstandings, and the quiet struggles no one else saw.

They weren’t perfect, not by a long shot. They argued about little things, like whose turn it was to take out the trash or why Tom always left his socks on the floor. But at the end of the day, they always found their way back to each other. Love, for them, wasn’t about grand gestures or fairy-tale endings. It was in the everyday moments. It was the way Sarah rested her head on Tom’s shoulder after a long day. It was the way he always made her coffee just the way she liked it. They knew love wasn’t always easy, but it was worth it. In the end, they were just two ordinary people, trying their best, learning as they went, and holding on to what really mattered.
