Before sharing your story please read and agree to the following.
-
Respect and Sensitivity: All submissions should reflect kindness and be shared in good taste. Please avoid graphic violence, hateful speech, or content that may be triggering or harmful to others.
-
Original Content: We operate on the honor system. By submitting, you affirm that the story is your own, or that you have permission to share it.
✧ Stories drawn from history or public figures are welcome and do not require citations, but they should be retold with care and personal insight.
✧ Short reflections or one-sentence stories are also welcome — no sources needed — but please ensure they are meaningful and in alignment with the heart of this project.
✧ Plagiarized content or reposted material from others (without permission or adaptation) will not be accepted. -
Faith-Inspired or Goodness-Focused: We encourage stories that reflect hope, transformation, grace, or the resilience of the human spirit. You don’t need to be religious, but please keep the tone respectful of faith and others’ dignity.
-
Length and Clarity: Please aim to keep your story clear and concise. Submissions that are overly long, incoherent, or off-topic may not be considered.
-
Ownership & Consent: You retain full ownership of your story.
By submitting, you grant us permission to review and potentially publish your story, with light editing if needed.
If selected, your story will only be published on the main blog at https://greatstory.ca/our-stories/. It will not be shared or used anywhere else without your express written permission. -
Editorial Discretion: Submitting a story does not guarantee it will be posted. All stories are subject to review, and only those aligned with our values and guidelines will be selected for sharing.
-
Private Review Only: Submissions are reviewed privately by site admins and will not be made public if they do not meet our guidelines.
-
Safe Space Commitment: This is a space for encouragement and truth. We hold every story as sacred and aim to honor each voice with care.
Thank you for your courage and kindness. Your story matters.
